…And a laptop in a small apartment in a loud apartment building. 

As a kid, I've always dreamed of being a video game soundtrack composer. I listened to basically nothing but VG soundtracks throughout my childhood. I would get melodies and drumbeats stuck in my head for weeks on end and play them out on family piano by ear. After working enough to be able to afford music production software and a place to do it, I put these melodies out there to be heard by anyone who wanted to listen. Encouraged by friends and family, I eventually went for creating my own stage name and having my own unique sound. 

Now, I was a huge nerd growing up (still am.) and I had a lot of D&D character concepts. I use each for my gamer tag when I play games online. One is named SullenStar for that. A badass wild elf with an attitude who decided to be different and wield a greataxe instead of a bow or using magic, like most elves. 

Another was Elektrodias (pronounced Elek-Trow-Dee-us), a strong silent human electromancer who travels through different dimensions and worlds and helps people who need it. He's also got a canine companion, a gray Beagle-Bull named Chini, who has the powers of telepathy. 

Elektrodias was more than just a character to me, he was a character that I wanted to mirror who I was, with a few differences. (I am not the strong, silent type. I want to be, but alas, I have ADHD and just can't ever shut the hell up. 😅) thus I knew the name for my band. It was perfect in my eyes. As a plus, no one else has that name either, so that helps. 

I've only been doing this for almost a year, but I am having so much fun making music and scratching that creative itch that I've had for years with no outlet. So here I am, and here I'll stay, Hope you enjoy my creations!
